Salespeople and Other High Achievers

 

  • Print them out in HTML, instead of text, and keep them in a three-ring binder or file folder to review periodically

 

  • Create a mastermind group and use the Boosters as topics for  discussion and implementation

 

  • Use them as a basis for creating and using affirmations to support behavior change.
  • In order to implement the processes and techniques presented, learn more about change and how to manage it in your life. More

 

 

Sales Managers and Other Motivated Team Leaders


  • First, and most important, be sure your team members receive

        and keep printed copies of the Sales Boosters. We encourage

        them to be direct subscribers.

  • Select those Boosters that bring a message that is especially    
    pertinent to your situation and write an encouraging,

        motivational memo to your team, using stories to illustrate          
        points whenever possible.

  • For particularly important topics write a Management Summary

        and Action Plan addressing the topic: why it's important, how

        it can be implemented, the results expected, and how it will

        be followed up and evaluated..

  • Follow up your Action Plan with Execution Calls consisting of

        teleconferences with small groups (5 or 6 people per group)

        where they are held accountable for implementation.
 

  • Assign members of your team, on a rotating basis, to write a

        Summary and Action Plan with suggestions for application to

        be distributed to all others.

  • Use Summaries as discussion points in meetings, including

        teleconferences; or, ask for ideas on selected Booster topics         
        for discussion during meetings.

  • Use a Question & Answer format where you send emails to your salespeople asking pertinent questions about a Booster topic and have them reply with copies to the entire group.
  • Provide training that will help them not only to better understand the content and how to apply it, but will enable them to actually implement it and take accountability. More
  • Encourage your team members to voluntarily share the impact of the Boosters and how they use them. I have dozens of responses in my files from people who express the positive actions they have taken as a result of receiving a timely, meaningful Sales Booster. I always think, "Wow!  Shouldn't

        he have sent this to his manager?  Wonder if he shared it with

        anyone else in the company?”
